Welcome to our App Prototyping & Development course designed specifically for young innovators aged 10-15 years.
This exciting program:
- Ignites Creativity and Technical Skills: Students will embark on a creative journey, bringing their ideas to life by designing their own mobile apps from scratch.
- Guided App Development: With expert guidance, students will develop the app they designed and learn how to upload it to a mobile device, making their concepts a reality.
- Hands-On Experience: Students will interact with their creations, using the apps they built, and gain practical skills in both creativity and technology.
Our programs are an excellent way for your child to develop future-ready STEM skills, setting them on an exciting adventure towards a successful future!
Please note: We want your child to get the most out of this course! If they have a smartphone to bring along, it will enhance their experience. However, it's not required, and they'll still have a great time!

Computer Requirements
Laptop with a USB port and a cable to connect to a mobile phone. A mobile phone if available, this will make the experience much more engaging for your child, however it is not required, if the students do not bring a phone then we will use a simulator to deploy the application. They must have administrator access to the laptop and the phone. If the students bring their own mobile phone then the MIT AI2 Companion App needs to be installed on the phone using the following instructions: https://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/ai2/setup-device-usb.html
No Ipads or tablets.
